Biography

Jun Choi is a Certified Practising Valuer (API) with Preston Rowe Paterson Sydney, where he provides valuation and advisory services across a range of commercial, statutory, and specialised property assignments.

Jun has developed a strong foundation in finance, property economics, and valuation methodology, supporting both institutional and private sector clients. His work spans investment property valuation, statutory valuation, special purpose assets, portfolio analysis, and strategic property market assessment, with a focus on delivering robust, well supported advice aligned with professional and regulatory standards.

He holds a Master level qualification in Property from Western Sydney University, achieving High Distinction results in advanced subjects including Investment Property Valuation, Property Portfolio Analysis, Strategic Property Market Analysis, Feasibility Modelling, Corporate Finance, Statutory Valuation, and Property Law. His academic background reflects a strong analytical capability and a disciplined approach to valuation problem solving.

Fluent in both English and Korean, Jun brings additional value in cross cultural client engagement and assignments involving international stakeholders. His professional approach is characterised by attention to detail, clarity of reasoning, and a strong appreciation of risk, assumptions, and evidentiary support within valuation reporting.

In addition, Jun is undertaking specialist training in expert witness practice, including instruction in expert report preparation, compliance with court and tribunal rules, independence and duty to the court, and the practical conduct of expert evidence in contested matters. This training complements his valuation experience and supports his ability to contribute to matters requiring formal expert opinion, statutory valuation evidence, and litigation related advisory work.
