Biography

Alex Preston is a Valuer/Analyst within Preston Rowe Paterson’s Investment Valuation and Capital Markets Advisory practice. He holds a Bachelor of Property Valuation and is both an Associate Member of the Australian Property Institute and a Certified Practising Valuer (CPV).

Alex is involved in the delivery of institutional grade valuation and advisory services across a broad range of commercial property asset classes. He works closely with senior team members on assignments requiring rigorous analysis, disciplined methodology and a strong understanding of investment fundamentals.

Alex undertakes detailed market research, analysis of sales, leasing and income evidence, and assists in the preparation of high‑quality valuation reports prepared to audit and professional standards. He has experience utilising Forbury for institutional‑grade cash flow modelling, valuation analysis and scenario testing in support of investment and capital markets assignments.

Alex applies a structured and analytical approach to valuation work, with a strong focus on accuracy, consistency and compliance. Through his role within the Investment Valuation and Capital Markets Advisory team, he continues to develop technical capability and practical experience in delivering clear, well‑supported and commercially informed valuation advice.
