Biography

Anthony Mir is an experienced Commercial Valuer, holding a Bachelor of Property Economics. He brings a strong technical foundation and a clear understanding of commercial property markets to the delivery of accurate, independent and well‑supported valuation advice across a broad range of asset classes.

 

Anthony has established experience in valuing commercial, industrial, retail and specialised property assets, with a sound working knowledge of planning regulations, zoning controls and development frameworks. His analytical approach supports the assessment of market conditions, investment fundamentals and risk factors affecting commercial property values.

 

Anthony is highly skilled in the interpretation and analysis of commercial sales, leasing and market evidence, and regularly assists in the preparation of detailed valuation reports for lending, acquisition, disposal and advisory purposes. His experience extends across key commercial valuation methodologies, including direct comparison, income capitalisation, replacement cost and discounted cash flow (DCF) analysis. He is proficient in industry‑standard systems and financial modelling tools, including Estate Master and Microsoft Office applications.

 

Working closely under the guidance of Gregory Preston AM, Anthony has contributed to valuations for a diverse client base, including property developers, financial institutions, investment groups and private clients. His methodical approach, attention to detail and ability to deliver clear, commercially grounded valuation advice make him a valued member of the Preston Rowe Paterson commercial valuation practice.
