We are thrilled to have sponsored the Goodman ‘good+network’ women’s event last Thursday which raised a whopping $24,000 on the evening for the 2015 National Hard Hat Campaign. All funds raised went directly towards helping homeless young people rebuild their lives.
The evening was attended by over 130 like-minded professional women who networked, engaged with mentors and key speakers, raised money and enjoyed a glass or two of champagne.
Participants were given the opportunity to engage with 13 key leaders who acted as mentors throughout the night. These leaders were Board Directors and CEO’s from a variety of high profile companies in Australia including:
- Goodman Group;
- EMC Holdings;
- King & Wood Mallesons;
- Addisons; and
Key figures gave participants an insight into their experiences within the corporate world, the different approaches they took, the leadership styles they find most successful and general feedback on women equality in the workplace.
We thoroughly enjoyed attending and sponsoring the good+network event which contributes to a great cause. To any professional women considering attending – we highly recommend going along in 2016!
